Abstract- Skeletons in the storeroom will introduce an overview of the techniques used in the analysis of skeletal remains,that help inform our understanding of past societies.

Abstract- Skeletons in the storeroom will introduce an overview of the techniques used in the analysis of skeletal remains,that help inform our understanding of past societies. A range of periods will be covered, but a particular focus will be on the Early Anglo-Saxon societies of Britain.

The presentation will also include the results of the latest analysis on the Butler's Field cemetery at Lechlade, where familial kinship was investigated through skeletal traits. Craig Jones has been a volunteer at Corinium Museum for over 2 years, and has recently completed his Masters Degree in Osteoarchaeology at Bournemouth University.
