More Glorious Cotswold Gardens (3 nights)
Tuesday 14/08/12 00:00 - 17/08/12 00:00
Here’s your opportunity to study the history and design of magnificent contrasting gardens, with an emphasis on appreciating the origin of plants from all around the world. Sezincote and Bourton House gardens provide beautiful planting of contrasting styles and fashions, each with its special and unique character. We hope also to visit two private gardens, one on the Farncombe Estate designed by Julian Dowle in contemporary Japanese style, and the Arts and Crafts garden at Rodmarton Manor near Cirencester. Practical plant identification is provided. Expenses include travel but exclude entrance fees. The course starts on Tuesday evening and finishes on Friday after lunch.
