Jubilee is an exciting exhibition celebrating Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee. It will feature an eclectic mix of local photographs and items from Cotswold coronation events, royal memorabilia and focus on the Queen's last sixty years as Britains monarch.
The exhibition pays particular interest in the Queen's role on stamps, and the variety of artwork which has been used since 1953. The exhibition will show works commissioned for Royal Mail stamps from artists including Tony Meeuwissen, Martin Parr, Jake Sutton and Terence Millington. The exhibition will also showcase postcard designs from the Best of Britain stamp competition, which has attracted submissions from artists worldwide. Entry to the museums temporary exhibition space is free.
