These include two recently located in the USA. These pictures, alongside contemporary descriptions and exploring what is left on the ground, reveals much about the lifestyles, the technologies and the wealth that could be made in the woollen industry during the Industrial Revolution. Jennifer Tann, whose new book Wool and Water is to be published later in the summer, invites you to walk into the pictures of the industry which contributed so much to the Gloucestershire landscape.
