A walk in rural West Oxfordshire, looking at trees, woodland and historical, natural and geological features.
A walk in rural West Oxfordshire, looking at trees, woodland and historical, natural and geological features. An easy wak of about five miles centred on one of Englands smallest parishes, Wilcote. The terrain will be on footpaths, farm tracks and country lanes, with some kissing gates and stiles. It will be muddy if wet. Sorry but no dogs please. Meet at Bridewell Organic Gardens at 13.30. Look out for car parking signs to the vineyard. After the walk participants are more than welcome to stay for a tour of the therapy gardnes and a cup of tea - contributions welcome. This walk is a Cotswold Wardens event, as part of the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and will be led by Cotswold Wardens.
