Medieval Families An afternoon talk with Tim Porter What did people mean by family in the Middle Ages?
Medieval Families An afternoon talk with Tim Porter Thursday 22nd November, 2 - 4pm What did people mean by family in the Middle Ages? Life in the Middle Ages encompassed the people you lived with, prayed with, and went to war with. It was the buildings you lived in and the fields you ploughed. The life of all classes was dominated by the feudal system. This talk with guest speaker, Tim Porter, will try to evoke this vivid sense of community and explore the jobs and occupations, buildings and lifestyle of the people who lived alongside each other. Cost: £5.65 or £5 to season ticket holders. Booking is essential
