Join local wildlife artist Cath Hosman to explore “Why are Insects Fab?” Cath will encourage exploration of insects with children
Saturday 30th March, 10am to 1pm Join local wildlife artist Cath Hosman to explore “Why are Insects Fab?” Cath will encourage exploration of insects with children. These sessions will not only provide lessons on how to draw and paint beautiful bugs in fascinating detail, using exotic specimens, but will also help to enlighten children on how beautiful; how social; how intelligent and how organised insects are. Cath will be showing children that even though they are the smallest, they are often the most interesting and precious animals that we can all appreciate - in our gardens, parks, window boxes, river banks, hedgerows and general surroundings. Cost: £1 or free to season ticket holders. Family drop-ins are suitable for children aged 3 and above. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Please note that last admissions will be 10 minutes before the end of each drop-in session. Contact details: Corinium Museum, Park Street, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7 2BX Tel: 01285 655611
