This walk will explore the Roman remains of Cirencester and the surviving archaeological monuments of Corinium Dobunnorum .
Tuesday 13th August, 10.30am – 12pm This walk will explore the Roman remains of Cirencester and the surviving archaeological monuments of Corinium Dobunnorum, highlighting some of the town’s most important discoveries. The walk will last roughly an hour and a half. Please note that although reference will be made to the town’s amphitheatre, the walk will not include a visit to it. Cost: £5.65 adult or £5.00 for season ticket holders. Meet at the museum’s entrance. Please wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking, and be aware there are no seating opportunities on the route.
