During this walk, the lead up to, and the course of the military actions, will be described on the ground where it all.
Thursday 5th September at 2.30pm The momentous events of the first week in February 1643 were to greatly influence the lives of the townspeople and local villagers for the next two and a half years. Hundreds lost their lives, and many more their property. Cirencester was, as it is today, a key geographical location for the South West of England and on into Wales. Cost: £5.65 adult or £5.00 for season ticket holders. Meet at the museum’s entrance. Please wear comfortable footwear suitable for walking, and be aware there are no seating opportunities on the route.
