Thursday 23rd January at 12.30pm Dr Alison Brookes will examine the antiquarian and archaeological evidence to discuss the monumental landscape of the Prehistoric Cotswold. Alison will highlight Condicote Henge, the cup and ring stone from Gotherington and numerous Neolithic and Bronze Age barrows known from the district. This talk runs in connection with the exhibition “Faces in the Avebury Stones” by Di Pattison. Museum lunchtime gallery talks are included in admission.
