The patron of the Festival is HRH The Prince of Wales, and the artistic director is Jonathan Cohen who took over from Steven Isserlis CBE last year. Each year the aim is to bring leading instrumentalists and singers to Tetbury, and previous performers read like a Who’s Who of the classical world. 2014 will be no exception and include: Thursday 2nd October: Kristian Bezuidenhout (harpsichord) and Isabelle Faust (violin) JS Bach sonatas and partitas Friday 3rd October: Cuartetto Casals and Nicolas Alstaedt Haydn, Liget Quartets, Schubert Quintet in C Major Saturday 4th October : Anne Murray DBE and Malcolm Martineau Purcell, Brahms, Faure Granados, Britten and Irish Songs Saturday 4th October: Trusler Carroll Wass Trio Mozart, Debussy & Tchaikovsky Sunday 5th October: Dunedin Consort JS Bach – St John Passion The David Thomas Memorial Concert Tickets available from 21st July 2014 from Tetbury Tourist Information Centre, Church St, Tetbury, GL8 8JG.
