St Kenelm's Well plus two stops ending at St Peter's Church Winchcombe

A play in 3 acts telling the story of the 9th century saint who was murdered by his sister in the Clent hills. The Pope gets a message carried by a dove and the body is discovered and carried back to Winchcombe.
A free event organised by local people to celebrate a local saint's legend. Start at 2.45pm at St Kenelm's Well on the Sudeley Castle Estate with a well blessing(OS map OL45). The first scenes take place in front of the well, accompanied by music by Waytes & Measures. Then walk down into the Sudeley Estate for the next scenes. Afterwards, a short walk to St Peter's Church in Winchcombe for the final scenes. The play and walk should take about two hours including a refreshment stop at Sudeley Castle visitor centre.
