Andrew Legg explores the amazing story of Joseph Ritson Wallace: early nineteenth century explorer, collector, taxidermist, museum curator, newspaper proprietor, and tax collector! Andrew is Wallace's great great grandson, an avid family history researcher, and a volunteer at Dr Jenner's House, Museum and Garden.
Doors open at 7pm for this talk about the intriguing Joseph Ritson Wallace, a man with many talents who lived an extraordinary life. refreshments are available both while you wait for the talk to begin at 7.30pm and after the talk has finished. The talk will take place in the Old Cyder House within the beautiful setting of Jenner's house and garden. Tickets can be purchased for £5 each. We recommend that you book in advance by emailing or telephoning us due to a limited number of available tickets, but any that remain on the day will be for sale on the door.
