Cath Hodsman Solo Exhibition This art exhibition celebrates the fascinating anatomy, diversity, colour, shape, form and importance of insects.....In short, it is designed to celebrate, and disseminate everything about their amazing hidden world. Cath pays homage to these amazing mini-beasts by painting and sketching them using a scale that enables all to appreciate their beauty that is normally hidden from view. Cath Hodsman is one of the country's foremost natural-history artists. Her passion and specialism is painting and sketching insects. In order to pay homage to their hidden beauty, she aims for 100% anatomical accuracy in every artistic study she produces. As such, she sells her work at the world-famous Natural History Museum, London. This exhibition offers a rare opportunity to see and purchase her original works in a unique solo show. Meet the artist and find out about her working practice on Saturday 26th March between 11am and 2pm in the exhibition space.
