Stride Along the Cotswold Edge to Tyndale

An opportunity to see the clearance work carried out by the Wardens to expose the main fortifications at Brackenbury Hill Fort, and view the monument to William Tyndale, who translated the Bible into English.
Start Point : Wotton Under Edge, at the top of the hill on the Old London Road, leading from Wotton to the B4058. Parking on the roadside at the top or further along by the scout camp.

Escape to the Cotswolds

This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
