Salt, Pepper, Apples and Pears

This is a circular walk from Winchcombe, gradually ascending the Cotswold Scarp and following the Winchcombe Way onto the Saltway before ascending to Hailes and returning to Winchcombe via the Cotswold Way. This is classic Cotswold walking encompassing rolling pasture, national footpaths and impressive views. Bring a packed lunch.

This walk is organised by Cotswold Voluntary Wardens, the voluntary arm of the Cotswolds Conservation Board. These walks offer an interesting and often entertaining way of exploring our wonderful Cotswold countryside and landscape. All walks by the Voluntary Wardens are FREE OF CHARGE however donations are welcome and help us to take care of the countryside.
